Aakash is the storyteller. PowerTrain is the media brand being built around it.
PowerTrain documents how India is being built.
A creator-led media and communications platform focused on infrastructure, real estate, mobility, urban development, engineering, public policy and the economic story surrounding India’s growth.
We cover projects from the ground, speak with the people shaping them, study the engineering and policy behind them, and translate that information into content that is accessible to a mass audience.
These subjects affect millions of people, yet they are usually communicated through engineering documents, policy papers, press releases, political speeches or corporate marketing. PowerTrain sits between those worlds — combining the accessibility of creator media with the depth of infrastructure journalism and industry communication.
Aakash Bhavsar
An infrastructure storyteller and media entrepreneur who helped bring infrastructure conversations into mainstream digital media.
His interest in infrastructure began early, through his father’s work in a construction-related field. That proximity created a curiosity about how things are built, how large projects work, why cities change and how infrastructure affects everyday life.
He went on to study Mechanical Engineering, but the defining part of his professional journey became digital media. He began creating content when infrastructure was not yet an established digital category in India, and built PowerTrain into a platform that makes technical and policy-heavy subjects relevant to a broad audience.
He hosts The Indian Infra Show and has appeared as a speaker, moderator and panellist across infrastructure, real-estate and technology forums. He has also contributed written commentary and analysis to mainstream publications.
To help people understand the systems shaping the country around them.
Infrastructure, development, policy, real estate, construction, mobility and city-building affect day-to-day life far more than most people realise. PowerTrain exists to make them part of mainstream public conversation.
The objective is not to oversimplify. The objective is to explain.
Scale, depth, access and trust
A creator-led voice whose primary relationship with the audience is editorial and explanatory — not a developer, contractor, consultant or government body.
Not only large. Specialised.
A PowerTrain viewer already wants to know where cities are expanding, which corridors are developing, how projects are engineered and how connectivity affects property.
Make infrastructure, development and city-building part of mainstream culture.
We go to the project.
